INTENSIVE CONVERSATION

At ESL in Edmonton, you can get the help you need to really improve your Conversational Skills. This is a specialized, concentrated course to get you practicing what you are learning. Prepare in class and then take what you have learned into the real world. Assignments, Challenges and FIELD TRIPS will get you practicing what you are learning in class. Then bring your experiences back to class for additional clarification and understanding. The best learning always comes by doing. Take this course alone or in combination.

ENGLISH IMMERSION IS NOT ENOUGH

Everyone knows someone who has lived in their second language for many years — sometimes for most of their lives — without ever progressing beyond the basics (and common mistakes). Living and working in the language can be a big help, but by itself, it is just not enough. Without good instruction and correction, it is almost impossible to make the language your own. Most of the time, you won’t even be able to recognize your mistakes — never mind, know how to fix them. The key to learning quickly and well, to listen, understand and speak in Conversational English, is to be able it to practice and get instruction on a regular basis. The more you practice what you are learning, and the more frequently you practice, the more successful you will be. You will learn much more and much better, in smaller, daily sessions, than by trying to cram a whole lot of hard work into larger, irregular and infrequent efforts.

PRACTICE 3, 4, 5 or 6 DAYS/WEEK with ESL in Edmonton. 

Intensive Conversational English with ESL in Edmonton, gets you to where you want to be sooner because you can practice up to six days a week. Intensive Conversation classes may be offered three, four or five days per week (depending on the module). In addition, you can always Drop-In Online Saturday Mornings, to get in some extra practice with a different class but relevant instruction. Even better, you can get started right now without waiting for the next course to begin.  
 

FIELD TRIPS

ESL in Edmonton offers FIELD TRIPS take you into a variety of different venues and situations to get you practicing what you have been learning and expand your vocabulary and abilities. Where you go, and what you do, in a Field Trip depends on the preferences of the students. There may be an additional instructional fee for the Field Trips, depending on the nature and number in the class.  Any transportation or other expenses related to the trips are solely the responsibility of the individual students. Some courses may include one or more field trips at no additional expense. Please Enquire.
